2nd December 2003 : NICE consults on new strategy
to strengthen guidance and improve quality of
patient care
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence
today publishes a draft strategy outlining proposals
for how its new Research and Development (R&D)
programme will improve the quality of patient
care across England and Wales. The draft strategy
is launched on the first day of its annual conference
'Clinical Excellence 2003', where discussion will
focus on how to support and develop research programmes
within the NHS and the UK.
