The Scottish Telemedicine Initiative has been funded by the Scottish Executive Health Department to promote the implementation of telemedicine in Scotland. Guiding its work is a clinical forum - the Scottish Telemedicine Action Forum. The Scottish Telemedicine Action Forum (STAF) is a group consisting of clinicians, academics, managers and technologists who have been appointed to oversee the development of telemedicine within Scotland.
