About Network

This network, first established by a small group of nurses in 2000, is an independent initiative, freely open to all nurses and health and social care colleagues with an interest in developing e-health in order to maximize the professional delivery of effective patient care.

This site is not only for e-health and informatics ‘specialists’ – the current opportunities and challenges posed by the use of information technology in health care delivery are relevant to all of us – we hope that offering a supportive network system where these elements may be learned about in a safe, owned and sharing environment will benefit everyone in the system – especially our patients.}
